Bijitita en Bittôlo wonen vanaf 27 november 2005 bij Marjan en Frank Heylen in Zwijndrecht(BE) Ze heten voortaan Tita en Tollo en de kleinkinderen en kinderen van Marjan en Frank zijn ook erg in hun nopjes met de tweeling. Helaas is Tollo op 24 februari 2006 overleden.

Bijitita and Bittôlo live with Marjan and Frank Heylen in Zwijndrecht(Belgium) from 27 November 2005. They are called Tita and Tollo and the grandchilderen and children of Marjan and Frank are also very fond of them. Unfortunatly Tollo died on 24th of February 2006.

De wereld staat even stil, en weer worden we met onze neus of de feiten gedrukt dat wij hier niets in de hand hebben. Ik kreeg het verschrikkelijke bericht van Marjan en Frank dat Tollo vanmorgen is ingeslapen. Tollo ging als een gezond kereltje met zijn zusje naar België, maar vanaf half januari begon hij te kwakkelen met zijn gezondheid. Eerst een darminfectie, hier knapte hij wat van op maar hij kreeg daarna tekenen van FIP. Marjan en Frank hebben alles geprobeerd om hem te helpen, maar helaas is FIP fataal en is er geen medicatie tegen deze ziekte. FIP is een ziekte die heel moeilijk vast te stellen is en pas na autopsie kan men met zekerheid zeggen of hij dit had. Tollo heeft maar een half jaar mogen worden. Hij heeft ons ieder de helft van zijn korte leventje gegeven: drie maandjes bij ons en drie maandjes bij Marjan en Frank en Titta.

The world stopped for a while, and again we are pointed to the fact that we don't control anything here. I did get the terrible news from Marjan and Frank that Tollo died this morning. Tollo left us as a healthy kitten with his sister and went to Belgium. From medium January he went ill, first a infection to his intestines but he seemed to recover nicely from it. But then he got signs of FIP. Marjan and Frank tried to do anything to cure him, but unfortunately FIP is fatal and there is no medication against is. FIP is a disease that is very hard to recognise and only after an autopsies they can be sure it was FIP. Tollo was only a half year old. He gave us both the half of his short life: three months with us and three months with Marjan and Frank and Titta.

Tita houdt van ruige spelletjes, zo staat alles nog overeind, zo ligt alles plat.

Tita likes to play rough, first all stands up, second all is on the floor.

Vanmorgen bezochten we Titta bij Marjan en Frank in België. Als we in Zwijndrecht zijn aangekomen moeten we nog wat zoeken, maar ineens zien we Frank rijden. Dus erachter aan. Gastvrij worden we begroet door Frank en even later door Marjan. Ook Titta begroet ons al meteen bij de voordeur. Wat een mooie dame is het geworden en superlief. Ze heeft een mooie roomwitte vacht, een mooie lange staart, langer dan mama Jamila. Een lief kopje, ze lijkt op Jamila, maar ook Boris zien we in haar trekken. Ze is mooi stevig gebouwd, steviger dan Jamila. We vinden haar mooier dan haar mama. Ze is erg lief en aanhankelijk, trekt heel erg naar Marjan. Volgens Marjan luistert ze totaal niet, een waterstraal deert haar niet en ze gaat gewoon door met haar bezigheden. Waar Marjan is, is ook Titta. Ze apporteert net als Jamila en heeft het erg goed bij Marjan en Frank. Heel de morgen speelt ze heel actief, en pas als we weer naar huis gaan wordt ze wat rustiger en gaat naast Marjan liggen. Voor ons is het dan weer tijd om afscheid te nemen. Bedankt Marjan en Frank voor de gastvrijheid en de lekkere koffie.

This morning we visited Titta in Belgium with Marjan and Frank. When we arrive in Zwijndrecht we have to look for the way, but suddenly we see Frank in his car. So we follow him. We are welcomed hospitable by Frank and a minute later by Marjan. Titta also greets us at the front door. What a pretty lady is she becoming, and very sweet. She has a beautiful cream fur, and a beautiful long tail, longer then mama Jamila. A nice sweet face, she looks like Jamila, but we also see features of Boris back in her. She is firmly build, firmly then her mom. We think she is prettier then her mama. She is very sweet and affectionate, and she adores Marjan. Marjan tells us she doesn't listen at all, she isn't scared of the water pistol and keeps on doing what she is doing. She follows Marjan around the house, if you see Marjan, Titta is near. She retrieves her little mice like Jamila and has a good home with Marjan and Frank. During the morning she keeps on playing and being active, only when it is almost time to leave she gets a bit calm and lies down near Marjan. It is time for us to say goodbye. Marjan and Frank, thanks for the hospitality and the nice coffee.
